MY RECENT TRIP TO SHANGHAI AND FEW OTH PLACES

I have been absent from my blog for months.I never really care bout it coz very very few ppl care to read my blog.Anyway....Now I want to write this entry for remembrance so I won't forget this unforgettable journey to my anccestors' place...

WELL DAY 1:SHANGHAI/SUZHOU

I arrived at Pudong airport, shanghai around 7.20AM.We proceed to a nearby cafe to have our first breakfast in China. We had xiao long pao(disapointed), coz its supposed to be a specialty of Shanghai. Our tour group consists of 24 members all from Malaysia.

Travel for 3 hours to Suzhou.Tour guide told us that Suzhou is famous for Lengluis. We see how beautiful the girl is by her skin, her back especially....moist and smooth skin. Those fat girls won't come out but hide in the house.Thats why we can't see even a fat girl around, only slim girls riding on bicycles, quite pretty too...Do you know how we call lenglui in Suzhou?not "mei nu or xiao jie"We call "aiyo" or "AIYOYO" which means pretty gal in suzhou language. If the girl is ugly we say "aiya" or "AIYAYA"!

After visiting some places as suzhou such as the lovely gardens, we went back to hotel, a 5 star hotel in Suzhou. We had a good sleep after a long journey.

DAY2 :SUZHOU/NANKING

We visit the silk factory in Suzhou. The tour guide started promoting the goodness of silk in the bus while we are on the way, saying that silk is good for skin, helps to make complexion better if u sleep with the silk bed quilt covering your face etc...
The result of this promoting is that all the tour members bought one set of silk bed sheets that costs RM600.All members bought except me and my mum.My mum was contemplating whether to buy them for future use but in the end did not.
The silk factory has 3 floors, the first floor we visit the silk factory and the shop selling bed sheets etc..
the second floor is the retail shop for clothes made of silk like cheongsam, blouses and scarves.Me and my mum tried some of the silk cheongsams but the price is so expensive...Later we watch fashion show at the 2nd floor. Those models wearing clothes made of silk:sleepwear, streetwear and dinnerwear...

After having lunch at the 3rd floor, we went up to the tour bus and headed for Nanking...

At nanking, we visited the president's house where Cheong kai sek and Dr Sun Yat Sen once had their office...Boring place for me as I dislike history...

Will continue the other days in my next post...
